Adding Users Step 3

Finally, get the user to automatically connect to the new folder:

1. Click on Active Directory Users... on the icon bar to maximise it again.
2. Find the user you made earlier
3. Double-click on the user
4. Click on the Profile tab
5. Where it says Connect: W To \\NTSERVER\<name>$, change it so the <name> is that of your new user
6. Click Apply. An error will pop up telling you that the directory wasn't created because it already exists. This is good. Click OK
7. Click OK

That's it. For multiple users, you can do each stage the required number of times, or follow the cycle through for each one. Go back to the start now, if you want.
