Adding Users to a Windows Server

These pages give a simple step-by-step guide to adding the odd users to TME supported school networks with Windows Server. We don't suggest you use this process to add large numbers. That's a service we provide as part of all our Support Contracts.

The process has been split into three sections. Click on the link to get to the stage you want. Each leads on to the other. Before you start, make sure your system looks the way it needs to for the instructions to make sense. Go to the preparation page to check this. You also need adminstrative access to the server.

To create a new user:
Now create the User's home folder:
Finally, get the user to automatically connect to the new folder:

That's it. For multiple users, you can do each stage the required number of times, or follow the cycle through for each one.
