Networks and Cabling

TME have been installing data cabling and networks in schools since 1994, and can offer experience going back even further. We work with LEAs, contractors and individual schools. Our aim is to ensure that schools acquire robust and structured installations, meeting their needs now and into the future.

Networks only work if the cabling is right. Cutting corners here will cause massive problems later. Which will cost more to fix than any "saving" on the original installation.	Wireless networks are an extension of the cabled installation. Whether you want to link two sites or allow pupils to use laptops on their desks, wireless might be an answer.
An ICT Suite, with server, computers, printers and all the other equipment allows for maximal use of the resources.	Virus protection and filtering software is essential, other management tools make your life easier and reduce costs.
