Wireless network adapters

There are three different types of adapter. One for standard desktop PCs, fitted as an internal PCI card, one for older laptops, again fitted as an internal card and an external unit. The last can be used with machines like the Acorn RiscPC, which can't take the internal adapters. (There are also USB adapters, but they're not appropriate for school use)
